Live by the rules and if they don’t exist, I create them! Life needs rules.
I’m ok with rules. Sometimes they need adjusting, though, and I’m all about that when it has to happen.
Rules – yeah, I guess we need them, but I find that I operate much better when I am able to act on instinct instead of rules!
Daily routines:

Ugh. I know I probably should have one (you might even have one), but I am really bad at following a routine…I’d rather just go with the flow as the day goes by! Routine bores me.
If someone gives me a routine to follow, I’m pretty good at doing it. I don’t really want to do the same thing every day, but I can put up with it when necessary.
I live and die by my routine, and I can’t stand it when someone messes it up. How does anyone get anything done without a routine?
When an opportunity comes my way….

I look and see how it fits into my daily routine. If it doesn’t fit in, I have a hard time accommodating it, even when I want to or know I should.
I look to see how the opportunity fits into my client/customer/prospect’s patterns of behavior, and make a decision about it from there.
If it is a good opportunity, I change what I’m doing to make it work. Solutions change as opportunities change!
When it comes to finishing a project…

I love to plan it out and then work on it from start to finish. I get stressed if I can’t finish what I started!
I tweak it as I go. I don’t worry about starting it perfectly, I get going and adjust as necessary.
I get excited about new projects, but rarely am interested in working on all the details, all the way through. Often, I start strong but am not so great at finishing.
If I’m missing pieces of a project…

I will first decide if the pieces are really necessary, and then adjust as necessary.
I will search for something similar or make new ones so that I have the required pieces.

Get super annoyed. I don’t care if it’s interesting, I need to get my stuff done and I hate to be interrupted.
