When I first started in business, I was scared out of my mind. I had just gotten divorced (during the recession), I couldn't get a job (even it I wanted one), and I had bills to pay. Mortgage. Student loans.

Work wasn't getting done properly, or at all. I spent more time explaining things than I (or my team members) spent getting things done.
I was so frustrated, because I didn't want to be a jerk. I didn't want to be THAT boss. But I literally could not understand what the problem was - because it wasn't rocket science!
Unfortunately, this went on for wayyyyyyyy too long. I'm embarrassed to admit, I put up with ineffective team members for a few years.
But one day it really hit me how much money I was losing because this was happening to me, and my business.
And when that happened - I realized what I needed to do. I sought out my mentors and advisors, got advice, did a ton of research, went through trial and error (a lot) and finally got the RIGHT team in place.
